HURRICANE KATRINA AIDWe at MW International Ministries have watched, as we know you have, the absolute devastation from Hurricane Katrina along the Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida coasts. With many a tear and heavy hearts we watch the human as well as the animal tragedy's from the disaster and devastation and we pray and we pray and we pray. As we continue to pray it is also a time of action. It's time to put our prayers and faith in action and do whatever we can to help these people and their beloved animals. The Bible says faith without works is dead and true faith is an action word. That is why we are coming to you, our friends and partners as we have never seen or experienced anything like this in the history of this country and as Christians it is our call to battle. We need to help these people rise out of the ashes and let them know God is here and at work and that He loves them. The Bible declares we are called to help those in need and to do whatever we can do to help where there is a need and as we have seen the need is great from every angle of human life. Simply, we need your financial help. We at MW International Ministries have partnered with Harvest time International to help in sending tractor trailer loads of food and water to get to these people as well as other reputable organizations in these disaster area's to get them whatever is needed and to make sure that the much needed supplies get directly to the people in need. This is a very large undertaking but our God is bigger than anything the enemy can throw at us. The only way any of this can happen is through your generous donations for this on going relief effort. We are asking you to please consider giving the best donation you can to help us help them. All monies received will be going directly to this great effort and not to build a staff or build a new building, etc. These people desperately need our on going help and we will make a difference as we are determined to do what God has called us to do. Remember, this is up to you. The more you help us through your financial giving the more we will do, it's that simple. We will be your hands and feet and are willing to be sent but we can not go unless you send us. I have gone to the Houston Astrodome to help where ever I could and to represent this ministry and you, our friends and partners. Marlene as well as others stayed here to help with the logistics of the ministry and keep things going. We ask each of you to please keep us as well as all the victims of this disaster in your daily prayers, to help keep us protected and out of harms way as we continue to do all that we can. We will be providing as much as we can in our news and updates section of our website to help keep you informed of how each and everyone of you are helping. Please remember just because the news media has all but gone away there is still a lot of suffering and people who desperately need our help and will for sometime to come.
